How we protect the safety and wellbeing of every student, and who to contact with a concern.

Safeguarding at Bianca Tutoring Services

Bianca Tutoring Services is committed to protecting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people using our tutoring service.

Safeguarding concerns are taken seriously, and tutors are expected to report concerns promptly.

Tutor checks

Tutors are required to complete our recruitment and safeguarding checks before teaching students. Every tutor is DBS-checked before they begin teaching with us.

Online lessons

Tuition is delivered online using approved lesson platforms. Tutors are expected to:

  • maintain appropriate professional boundaries
  • communicate professionally
  • behave appropriately throughout online lessons
  • follow Bianca Tutoring Services' safeguarding expectations
  • report safeguarding concerns promptly

Recording lessons

Tutors must not record, distribute or share tutoring lessons without appropriate prior authorisation.

Reporting a safeguarding concern

If a parent, student or tutor has a safeguarding concern connected with tuition through Bianca Tutoring Services, they should contact us as soon as possible.
