We're always interested in hearing from academically strong, engaging and reliable tutors who care about helping students build confidence as well as achieve academically.
The tutor experience
Tutoring with us means teaching students you have been carefully matched with, supported by clear processes and a personal point of contact.
Students are matched according to subject expertise, level and overall suitability rather than being randomly allocated.
We focus on regular one-to-one tuition and meaningful, long-term tutor–student relationships rather than one-off lessons.
All tuition takes place online and can fit around university and other commitments, subject to the consistent weekly arrangements agreed for individual students.
Bianca Tutoring Services manages the initial parent enquiry, consultation and tutor-matching process before introducing the selected tutor.
Tutors receive clear expectations and processes around parent contact, scheduling and ongoing tuition.
Tutors have a clear point of contact if they need support with a student, parent or tutoring arrangement.
Our standards
Tutors are selected carefully, and academic achievement alone is not enough. Excellent grades do not automatically make somebody a strong tutor — we look just as closely at how you explain ideas, how you build a student's confidence and how dependable you are week to week.
We primarily work with high-achieving university students and graduates.
Subjects & levels
Tutor demand varies depending on current student enquiries, so we are not necessarily recruiting for every subject and level at all times. Relevant subjects and levels include:
Standards of service
Tutors representing Bianca Tutoring Services are expected to provide a consistently professional experience for every family they support. We share this openly so you know exactly what tutoring with us involves before you apply.
Safeguarding
All tutors are DBS-checked before teaching with us. Successful applicants must complete the required checks, documentation and onboarding before they begin teaching students through Bianca Tutoring Services.
You do not need a completed DBS check in place to apply. Please do not send identification or other sensitive documents through this page — we will guide you through the checks securely at the onboarding stage.
We'll guide successful applicants through the required checks and documentation securely once the recruitment stage is complete. Nothing sensitive is ever collected through this page.
Tutors work with Bianca Tutoring Services on a self-employed basis. Joining the tutor team does not guarantee tutoring opportunities or a particular number of hours — student opportunities depend on current demand and suitability.
