KS2 & 11+

Early foundations, built gently and well

One-to-one online tuition for primary school children — steady preparation for SATs and 11+ entrance exams, taught by tutors chosen as much for their patience as their subject knowledge.

Why it matters now

The years that quietly shape everything after

What a child believes about themselves at ten tends to follow them into secondary school. This is the stage where careful teaching has the longest reach.

Strong foundations

Number fluency, spelling, punctuation and comprehension — the quiet basics that make secondary school feel manageable rather than overwhelming.

Confidence first

Younger children often decide very early whether they are 'good at' a subject. Warm, encouraging lessons rewrite that story before it sets.

Curiosity kept intact

We keep lessons light and interested. Children work hard, but they should still enjoy learning at nine years old.

Exam preparation

SATs and 11+, approached calmly

Preparation without pressure. We plan far enough ahead that no one has to panic.

SATs preparation

Year 6 arithmetic and reasoning papers, plus the SPaG and reading papers — practised steadily through the year rather than crammed in the spring term.

11+ preparation

Grammar and independent school entrance exams: maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, with the timing and question styles these papers rely on. We usually recommend starting from Year 5.

Personalised learning

One child, one plan, one tutor

Bianca matches every child personally. For younger students that match matters enormously — a tutor who is kind, encouraging and genuinely good with children will achieve far more than a stellar CV alone.

Lessons are then built around what your child actually needs: the topics missed at school, the confidence knocked by a test, or the stretch a bright child isn't getting in class.

  • Hand-picked, DBS-checked tutors
  • Lesson plans adjusted week to week
  • Same tutor each week for continuity

One-to-one online lessons

Learning from home, without the rush

Lessons take place on Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, so there is no journey across town after school and your child learns somewhere they already feel comfortable.

Tutors use a shared interactive whiteboard, so you can see exactly what was covered — and children who are shy in a classroom often speak up far more readily one to one.

  • No travel, no rushed evenings
  • Shared whiteboard and saved lesson notes
  • Flexible weekly slots around school and clubs
